My Second Birthday

Hi Everybody

As you all know it was my Birthday yesterday.

Did you know your Birthday is ONLY ones a year?

I think that's stupid

I want to have a Birthday at least every week.

So I had been waiting a WHOLE year  for my Birthday

and because I didn't want to miss a single minute 

I tried not to sleep the night before.

That was really a BIG challenge 

because

I LOVE TO SLEEP.

I can sleep all day and all night.

Anyway,

I fell asleep

and I was dreaming of my birthday 

when Mrs. Nice came in my bedroom

[yes,I have my own bedroom]

She said:

Wake up Birthday Boy,

you don't want to sleep all day

No,I certainly don't want to sleep all day 

on my Birthday.

But I always start the day with a good washing up.

Come on DEXTER

Mrs.Nice said

 hurry up,

I made you your favourite dish for breakfast.

 this is why I love my Birthday

They had my chair decorated with balloons.

Look how beautiful.

They bought me flowers

Even though they are beautiful flowers,

I do not care much for them

But I like these flowers because the have very tasty leafs.

All day long

people came to congratulate me 

and they all brought presents.

I really like this sweet little birdy 

Justin gave me his lovely sweater, because I love to sleep on his sweaters.

He said "now you have your own sweater so leave mine alone"

Justin is a Nice guy, but he doesn't want me to sleep on his clothes.

He doesn't like the hair I leave on them,

I really can't understand him:

everybody says I have a beautiful fur

I got this book,

How Nice:

All the stories and photo's in it

are all about me.

 Melanie & Pieter had a package with delicious treats

Just the kind I like the most.

enough paper for a whole year.

 a Nice plant 

But the gift I liked the most is:

This amazing box.

We drank it

 ALL

Cleaning up [ why would you]

And then one day Mrs Nice says ''DEXTER''  I can't play with you all day I have to do some cleaning''
Cleaning........mmmmm  I wonder is that some kind of a new game?
Okay I play with you; first we have to decide what to do first

There is a lot of cleaning stuff here, do we really need all this?

I want to try them all, but she becoming annoyed and tells me

 '' DEXTER'' Stop goofing around''

WHY should I stop Goofing, this is much too much fun☺

But she really wants to start cleaning and she says

 '' let's start with the kitchen''

WHY, to me that kitchen looks perfect,  so I wonder what she is going to do with that.....

Okay lady, if you are  really pushing this through then I recommend Andy.

Not that I know what Andy is but I like the name. 

               May be it is better to start with this toilet.

                     Using this brush would be so much more fun  ☺

She would not listen to me, I have tried everything to get her to play with me but after I spilled
 the third bucket of water she said DEXTER STOP IT!!!!!!!
And by the sound of Mrs. Nice's voice I knew I could better stop now or she wouldn't be so ''Nice'' anymore
 Okay then if she really thinks she is better off without my help, I will go a take a Nice long nap

                  You May wake me when you are done with this cleaning rubbish!

Photoalbums, I love them ☺

 You all know Mrs.Nice is a bit crazy,

but when she gets her hands on a photo camera.......

well let me say this as nicely as possible;

She looses it completely!

She has 4 camera's !!!!!!!

That's nuts, she can only use one every time she wants to make a photo.

Anyway my favourite camera is the Nikon

I have NO idea what so ever whether it's a good camera or not,

but it came with a very Nice box

 actually it came with my forever favourite box

Don't let me start talking about my Nikon box

because I won't be able to stop.

We have a stack of photo albums lying on the koffietable

and I really like sitting on them.

                                      They feel really Nice and comfortable.
      And sometimes feel I like I have to protect them with all that I have

          even though I don't know what the danger is but............     

            IF there is any danger for them,

                            I'll be there to protect them ☺

                                          But sometimes I get so tired of it

                                 That I have to give myself a Nice stretch and then

                                 I go to lie down for a very Nice and long

A True Horror Story

One of my favourite places in this house is the
            SWIMMING POOL
It is always Nice to lie at the water and just gaze into the water
and think of all the Nice days I spend with my dear friends in the
        Cat Island Lodge

The pool is my favourite drinking bowl
I like my water best when it is making Nice little waves.

                            A few days ago I found  out I can walk on the water,
                                                         how cool is that.

                                   And it's very comfty to sit on it

My Humans Mr.& Mrs.Nice
        they are really crazy
you would never believe what they do..............
        THEY JUMP INTO THE WATER
                      Can you believe that?????????
                             Really, I'm not lying!!!!
They take off what they use as fur and
          then they call me 
''DEXTER are you coming, we are going for a swim''
then jump bare naked in the water
and start making strange movements!
I always go watch them when they do that
Somebody has to make sure they survive this madness
                      and that somebody is me ☺ 

But Yesterday,
                O My Cat 
                           Yesterday, that was sooooooooooo BAD
They went for a swim and opened the poolcover 
always when I hear that sound
I run towards the water for a Nice fresh drink 

And yesterday I was drinking and Mr. Nice came in and then...............
O it all happened so fast
Mr.Nice grabbed me and threw me in the water
                        Really I am so sure he did
Mrs. Nice says that's NOT what happened
she says I was drinking when they came in 
and Mr.Nice said with his Nice voice
        "Hey DEXTER''
and I rolled over on my back the way I always do when I see him coming
that way he can pet me the way I like it best.
But this time I was too close to the pool edge and
         I FELL IN THE WATER
and before they realise what happened
I swam towards the edge and jumped out of the water
I was happy with my very sharp claws,
I am so glad I always refuse to let her clip my nails
So now I could claw my nails in the wooden path  next to the pool
and pull myself out of the water.

 I don't know if I must believe that story
        but on the other hand
Mr. Nice is always Nice to me,
so why would he do something such a nasty thing?

                   Anyway, I was so wet all over 
             I was even with my head under the water!

                It happened  just after dinner, and I spent the whole evening
                               licking myself dry

            I was still wet when I finally fell a sleep from exhaustion.

                   I slept all night and many hours more

                         and I did hide myself for Mr.Nice almost all day 

             Now I think I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt

                                because he is a real Nice guy,

                              he never did anything bad to me 

                      and we LOVE each other sooooooo much

How was life before I came ?

Yesterday was it ONE YEAR ago I became DEXTER Nice, 
so we had a little celebration with lots of games,
noms and of course we had a Nice Tuna steak for dinner.
It felt a bit like a Birthday
and I and Mrs.Nice
had a Nice conversation about it.
She said; ''DEXTER you know I can't even remember how live was before you came.
                                    I just can't remember  .............
How did I know it was time to get up in the morning if you didn't throw us out of  the bed
because you think it's not big enough for the 3 of us.

How did I know it's teatime if you didn't bring me to the candy jar
because you think you are in desperate need of treats.

 How did I know it was playtime if you didn't bring me your toys,
because you think it's fun to play a game

How did I know I had to vacuum clean if you didn't bring me the
vacuum cleaner
because you think it's fun to attack the vacuum cleaner hose.

 How did I know it's time to do the groceries if you didn't bring me the shopping bag
Because you think we are out of treats 

How did I know it 's to time to start cooking if you didn't bring me to the oven, 
because you think a grilled Tuna steak for dinner would be Nice.

How did I know it's time to go to bed if you didn't climb your Himalaya
because you think it's bed time

            I REALLY CAN'T REMEMBER HOW LIVE WAS                                                     BEFORE YOU CAME.

And then just when I thought she isn't so dumb as she looks,
            she asks me the DUMBEST question ever;

                            DEXTER,

      do YOU know how my live was before you came
